Renua Giwa-Amu is an artist and model with a BA in Animation & Interactive technology from the Savannah College Of Art And Design (SCAD).
A multi-talented Nigerian filmmaker, Renua pursued both Drawing & Storyboarding Minors, seeing as she also enjoys visual development, painting, and various types of illustration.
In 2018, her graduating thesis short film made at SCAD and titled "The Stick" was selected to be featured in the sixth season of PBS & KQED television series “Film School Shorts”. The broadcast features the top student films created each year at the best Arts Universities in the US; her 2D animated short film which she wrote directed and animated will air nation-wide for the next 3 years.
In her spare time, Renua pursues Fashion Modeling and has a great love for designing/sketching clothes. She is well rounded in her interests and constantly pushes herself to reach beyond the the regular experiences of the average 2-D artist. This has encouraged her to partially explore at least four different continents in the world as of yet, and you should hire Renua because she easily aligns herself with people from all walks of life.
